As part of today's lesson in our devising groups, we took our iPhones and the college tablets and filmed the various areas around the college grounds which we would be interested in using.
We filmed 7 locations in total, but it comes down to the THREE locations which we have all been inspired by and feel our performance would benefit from the best.
The three locations myself, Max and Jade are interested in are;

• The mechanics garage- we have received permission from the Mechanics team that we can use an old convertible car as part of our performance. We could sit inside the car, potentially slowly move the car, base it around the car, sit on the car, the possibilities are vast, and this has sparked some really interesting ideas for our piece.
• The bus stop- we originally wanted to use the college bus for our piece, by performing inside the bus. But unfortunately due to budget, we cannot afford to pay to keep the bus past college hours as our performance would be starting at 7pm. But the bus stop is a really good location for our performance. We want it to be different and interesting.
• The painting and decorating rooms. These rooms are like boxes, which all have a different wallpaper or paint inside, and they are all in a row. It reminds me of a human zoo. The audience would come and look into the different rooms, which could have different lighting but would all link in with each other. We could have one person from our group in a different room, or as a group we could move from one room to another. This setting has an eerie sense to it, and could really work with our idea we have from the stimulus of the Apple.
